The Singh Performance Center
The Singh Performance Center is located in one of the 4 buildings housing Alternatives Unlimited at 60 Douglas Road in Whitinsville, MA. The building housing the Performance Center is pictured to the left. Not shown in the picture, but very visible when you arrive, is a large banner displaying the name of the center. Performances are on the second floor. The entire building is handicap accessible. An elevator is available.
From Boston, Mass Pike & Rte. 495 North of Mass Pike
1. Mass Pike (Rte. 90) West to Rte. 495 South (Exit 11A, Westboro).
2. Rte. 495 South for 3 miles to next exit (West Upton, 21B).
3. Continue straight off ramp – 4.75 miles to lights at Rte. 140.
4. Continue straight onto Maple Ave. – .7 miles to light at end.
5. Take right – follow 2.4 miles to Church Street on right.
6. Take right onto Church Street – follow 2.1 miles to 4th set of lights (note: 3rd and 4th set are less than 100 yards apart). This intersection is Hill Street on the right and Douglas Road on the left.
7. Take left onto Douglas Road – within a few yards cross the Blackstone River and bear right at the fork, staying on Douglas Road. Enter second driveway of 4 building complex on your right. You are there.
Approximate driving time from intersection of Rte. 128 and Mass Pike: 38 minutes at speed limit.
From Worcester and Points West on Mass Pike
1. Mass Pike (Rte. 90) East to Rte. 146 (Exit 10A, Worcester).
2. Follow signs for Rte. 146 South (right at lights at end of ramp and a quick right after that).
3. Rte. 146 South – 10 miles to Exit 4 (Lackey Dam Road, Douglas, Northbridge).
4. Take left at bottom of ramp onto Lackey Dam Road.
5. Continue 2.5 miles (Lackey Dam Road becomes Douglas Road). Arrive at 4 building complex on your left. You are there.
Approximate driving time from intersection of Rte. 146 and Mass Pike: 17 minutes at speed limit.
From Southeastern Mass (Franklin, Attleboro, Taunton, Cape Cod)
1. Rte. 495 North to Rte. 126 (Exit 18, Bellingham).
2. Left at end of ramp.
3. Follow this road 6.5 miles (name of road changes several times): you will cross Rte. 140 at 2 miles and Rte. 16 at 5.8 miles).
4. Take left onto Northbridge Street. Follow 4.25 miles.
5. Take left onto Church Street – follow 2.1 miles to 4th set of lights (note: 3rd and 4th set are less than 100 yards apart). This intersection is Hill Street on the right and Douglas Road on the left.
6. Take left onto Douglas Road – within a few yards cross the Blackstone River and bear right at the fork, staying on Douglas Road. Enter second driveway of 4 building complex on your right. You are there.
From Rhode Island
1. Take Rte. 146 North to Massachusetts Exit 4 (Lackey Dam Road, Douglas, Northbridge).
2. At bottom of ramp, turn right onto Lackey Dam Road.
3. Continue 2.3 miles (Lackey Dam Road becomes Douglas Road). Arrive at 4 building complex on your left. You are there.
Parking
There is adequate free parking at the complex. There are two small parking lots immediately adjacent to the buildings, and a larger lot across the street.
